Abstract College students` psychological health problems have drawn more and more attention. A survey found that nearly one fifth of college students had psychological problems, but not all the students want to get help from counselors. Also, it does not necessarily for all the problems and all people to get such professional help. Most students choose to get help from parents and friends, but these help is limited sometimes, and some students want to solve the problems all by themselves, but there isn`t a system method for them to self-analysis. This research is going to analyze the theoretical and practical basic and conduct a theoretical framework of self-analysis. Although this is a theoretical research, but its results base on the author`s long-term self-analysis, two long-term group discussion and some lectures about self-analysis. The introduction lists the purpose of this research, the result of literature research and some critical discussions about the present research of this topic. The first chapter discusses the theoretical basic of self-analysis, which is analyzed from two parts, the personality theoretical basic and the psychopathology theory basic. Chapter II discusses the connotation of self-analysis of college students, and the basic principles of it. The connotation of self-analysis is embodied in the analysis of the different components of the personality structure. Chapter III analyzes the contents and procedures of self-analysis. Self-analysis method can be further divided into five steps, and each step should achieve specific purposes.
