Shanghai D ie sel Engine Co. , L td. ) A b stract: In the p ap er a comm ercial veh icle powertrain wa s analyzed accord ing to the Ch ine se national stand ard ( GB ) and the requ irem en ts for u se a s an examp le, that wa s accomp lished in m atch ing the comm ercial veh icle powertrain among three typ ical die sel engine s by sim u lation and road te sting re su lts in pu rsu it of the fuel econom y and driving p erform ance. The p erform ance of the veh icle equ ipp ed w ith engine A wa s better than that equ ipp ed w ith en gine B. A nd after imp roving the engine B in to engine C, when it m atched w ith the veh icle, the veh icle ’s p erform ance also had a notab le imp rovem en t.
