When we read, sometimes we can guess the meaning of a new word from the context. If a new word appears in a sentence, the sentence itself might give the meaning of the word. When we look at the words before and after the new word, it is possible to find its meaning. Guessing the meaning of a word from the context The teachers question was a real riddle, a very difficult question to understand.
