Screen City This apple is the biggest of all. big bigger 一、形容词和副词的比较级和最高级 1. 变化规则 ⑴单音节词和少数双音节词： ① 一般比较级加 “– er”，最高级加 “– est” fast → faster →fastest clever→ cleverer→ cleverest ②以e结尾的词比较级加“–r，最高级加- st ” late→later→ latest ③ 以辅音字母加y结尾的双音节词，先变y为 i，比较级加“– r，最高级加- st ” easy → easier → easiest ④ 以“辅+元+辅”结尾并且元音重读的词，先双写最后一个辅音字母，比较级加“– er，最高级加- est ” thin → thinner → thinnest ⑵ 多音节词和部分双音节词，在原级前比较级加 more,最高级加 most 　 beautiful → more beautiful → most beautiful 2. 特殊变化的词 good/well → better → best little → less → least bad/badly/ill → worse → worst many/much → more → most far → farther/further → farthest/furthest old → older/ elder → oldest/ eldest 3. 比较级的用法（两个之间的比较） (1). 在than 前用比较级， eg: Today is sunnier than yesterday.
