In the smi p lified analyticmethods for structuresw ith energy d issipating system s or equ ivalent linear elastic systems, DM Fs are very useful. The detailed and systematic statistical stud ies on DMFs considering site conditions are carried out by using a total of 13 earthquake records. The factors are computed from the disp lacement, velocity and acceleration response spectra of single-degree-of-freedom systems w ith d ifferent damping ratios.
