Abstract ABSTRACT SQL language has provided a standard way to interact with the computer, which can be used to directly access and query relational data. JDBC middleware provides developers with a call interface, so that application developers can use SQL in a standard way. In this information ear, various forms of data store or exist in a variety of media. If this way can be used to check all the data described by relations, there is no doubt that it can greatly reduce the cost of learning and use. I work in a real-time database company which stores customer?s data generated in the process industrial production control, and provide programmable interface for customers in the form of API. From a customer perspective, they need a more general way to access these data that are stored. For example, some advanced users want to be able to find the desired data directly by using the SQL; systems integrators hope to reduce staff training costs by using a more general programming interface; engineering staff hope that the data can be imported into relational databases more easily; decision-making staff hope data can be identified by data mining software more simple. Real-time data storage means may be different from relational databases, but if it can be showed in the way of relational data, the efficient may surpass relational data in some respects. So if there is a SQL engine, users can access the data in the same way as they access relational database. If the realization of JDBC or ODBC middleware comes true, developers will be able to access real-time data in their familiar way as to access relational database; systems integrators and engineers can use common software tools to export the data into some computational model or data mining software.
