Unit 1 of Book 2 Time-Conscious Americans 课程说明 Course nature: This is a four-semester compulsory course for non English majors within the 4-year graduate Bachelor’s degree study.Each week there will be four teaching hours in multi-media classroom, eighteen weeks altogether. Course objective: To provide the students who take this course with reading materials up to their level and relevant to their study need, necessary English grammar, vocabulary equivalent to CET Band-4, Listening sufficient exercises for them to do. After finishing this course students are supposed to pass the examination CET Band- 4. Course contents: Students will have studied altogether seven units. Students will study Units 1、3、4、 5、6 、7 9 in Book II. On the completion of this course, students should know the usage of the words and phrases some sentence structures you have learnt in these units.
