摘要摘要 摘要 摘要 纵观20世纪中西方文学关系史，美国作家福克纳对于中国现当代文学的影响广 泛而深远，其中尤以新时期寻根文学所受的熏染最为著名。作为西方现代主义文学的 代表作家，福克纳不仅擅长运用现代派的表现手法来叙述故事，而且还以家乡美国南 方为原型，在他的众多小说中构建了一个著名的“约克纳帕塔法世界”。时隔80年之 后，中国新时期的青年作家为福克纳笔下的多姿多彩的艺术世界所折服，他们不仅学 习福克纳小说中高超的艺术技巧，在时序颠倒、多视角的叙述过程中享受写作的乐趣， 而且深入到福克纳作品的内核，试图在自己的小说中创造出一片独立的天地，其中以 莫言、苏童、贾平凹等人在这～时期创作的寻根小说成就最为突出，这些作品所蕴含 的艺术风格和文学气质均脱不开福克纳的“约克纳帕塔法’’世系小说的影子。两方作 家在新旧交替的历史时期，面对人类普遍的精神危机，试图在文字中寻求精神的皈依 之所。从叙事方式的学习到文学内涵的深入，寻根作家不断地从福克纳那里汲取精神 养分，在这一影响与接受的过程中，中国作家既融入了具有自身特色的创新点，具有 积极一面，但同时也存在着对于外来影响认识的偏差之处。 本文以福克纳的“约克纳帕塔法世系”小说和莫言、苏童和贾平凹等人创作的“寻 根小说作为比较研究对象，主要运用影响研究的方法，兼顾平行研究的因素，从影 响发生的原因、表现、评价几方面进行分析阐述，以期在个案的研究中折射出西方现 代主义文学与中国现当代文学之间的复杂关联。 关键词：福克纳；寻根作家；叙事方式；精神家园 AbstractAbstract Abstract Abstract In making a general observation of the history of Chinese and Westem literature，the American writer Faulkner shows the contemporary effect to roots—seeking literature in Chinese．As the leading figure of western modernism literature，Faulkner is expert in tdling story by excellent narrative techniques，besides，he structures a fictitious Yoknapatawpha world，which making up the body of his all works．After eighty years，in the text of the roots-seeking novels，we can find the trace of influence from Faulkner’S novds．Not only do they learn Faulkner’S narrative art,enjoying the pleasure of changing the point of view and confusing the time sequence in their novels，but also they penetrates into inherence of Faulkner’S works，trying to structure a place of meir own，in these writers，Mo Yan，Su Tong，Jia Pingwa are representative figures．During transitional era,for the sake of relieving people’S spirit pain,the two sides of writers attempt to pursue the spirit home in the literature．From narrative art to literature inherence，the roots-seeking writers continuing absorbing the essence from Faulkner’S works．In this process of influence and reception, Chinese roots—seeking writers show their innovation,but there is also some misreading． The thesis intend to focus on the novels of Faulkner and roots·seeking writers
