Reading UNIT 2 Online School 教学目标 1. Grasp the new words and expressions. 2. Know some reading methods. 3. Improve the students’ reading skills. Step 1. Presentation Teach the new words by multi-media. Words and expressions: online, physical handicap, convenient, handicapped Step 2. Pre reading T: Look at P12 before reading, and choose your favorite way to study. Which is your favorite way? S1: …the first one. T: Why? S1: … T: Which is your favorite way? S2: …the second one. T: Why? S3: … Step 3. While reading 1. Scan the passage. Finish the exercises in Part A and B. 2. Extensive reading. Finish the exercises in Part C. Step 4. After reading 1.Give the students two pieces of advice: ①Sum up the passage by the Ss themselves and retell this passage. ②Try to use the reading methods to read. 2.Time for asking questions. Step 5. Homework Read the passage on P12 an revise the words and sentences we have learnt today. Thank You
