简爱读书报告 　　Book report of Jane Eyre 　　As we all known, Jane Eyre is the masterpiece of Charlotte Bront?. It is Bront? that created Jane Eyre--the most powerful, independent, kind, and self-respecting lady who I have never met before. 　　Different from many other traditional romantic novels, at the 　　beginning of the book, Jane is an isolated, powerless ten-year-old orphan girl living with her wealthy aunt and cousins who dislike her and treated her cruelly. Jane Eyre was finally send to Lowood school--a charity school. Life in Lowood was hard, people there must believed in hard work,plain food, simple clothes and no luxury of any kind. So most of them were offish except Miss Temple, the headmistress of Lowood 　　School. Besides, Jane met a young girl named Helen Burns who shared a lot with her and became her best friend. Unfortunately, a massive typhus fever swept Lowood and Helen died of tuberculosis. After that, a new school was built and Jane stayed there for 8 years and worked as a teacher in the last two years with the help of Miss Temple--busy but happy. After being a governess after leaving Lowood at Thornfield, Jane Eyre, poor but aspiring, small in body but huge in soul, obscure but self-respecting, captured the heart of her enigmatic employer, Edward Rochester. However, on the wedding day, Jane found that Rochester already had a wife, Bertha. Rochester did’t deny this.
