EXAMPLE 1 - STABILITY ANALYSIS OF SMALL SIGNAL AMPLIFIER
In this example we will examine the stability of a bipolar junction transistor (BJT)
amplifier. The BJT device used is BFR92A, an NPN surface mount transistor from
Phillips Semiconductor. We are interested in using the transistor to design an amplifier
operating at 418MHz.
Step 1 – Design the DC biasing circuit
A collector current of between 3.0mA to 5.0mA is desirable. The following circuit is
constructed in the schem
