Learn the usages of adverbial clauses of condition.   4. Talk about the advantages and disadvantages of riding bikes.   II. Teaching important and difficult items.   1.Teaching important items: new words and phrases, useful expressions   2. Teaching difficult items: the adverbial clauses of condition   III. Teaching aids:   1. Multimedia interactive teaching   2. A blackboard and a recorder   III. Teaching procedures:   Step 1 Organization and greetings.   Duty report. A student retell the bike accident in Section A.   Provide students with the chance to speak English, train students to use and play of the target language so as to promote the development of communication ability   Step 2 Review   1. Revise the traffic signs the Ss have learnt.   Have the students say what they means and check the answers with the students.   2. Finish 1b   Check the answers with the whole class.   3. Revise the advantages of bicycles and the structure “ It’s + adj. + to do sth.”.   It’s faster than walking.   It can help us save energy.   It doesn’t cause air pollution.   It’s easy to park bikes.   4. Can you make some sentences with these sentence patterns.   It’s easy…   It’s important…   It’s exciting…   It’s impossible…   It’s bad…   Group work. Have the students discuss in groups and write down the sentences. Each group chooses one student to report their sentences to the class.   Lead to the new traffic signs by reviewing the traffic signs which the students have learnt , and we can naturally present the new knowledge of the lesson. Let the students discuss how to make sentences to improve their cooperation work and get good sense of competition.
