B y analyzing the factors lim iting the calib ration accu racy of 3D coordinate m ethod, th is p ap er p ropo se s a new calib ration m ethod ba sed on 1D coordinate. A vo id ing the d ifficu lty that la ser scann ing system cannot m ea su re 3D coordinate s of a sp ecific po in t, the 1D coord inateba sed calib ration m ethod can get rid of the influence of scann ing re so lu tion , re su lting in m uch better calib ration accu racy than 3D coordinate m ethod.
