教学过程
一、Warm-up
1)Greetings: Say hello.
2)Chant: Tall, tall, tall! Make yourself tall.
Big, big, big! Make your eyes big.
Long, long, long! Make your arms long.
二、Revision
(唱反调,老师说一形容词,学生说其反义词。)
T: Long. S1: Short. T: Tall. S1: short.
T: Small. S1: Big. T: Young. S1: Old.
三、Presentation
3.1:Teach the new words:younger, older, taller, shorter, longer.
(1)T: How old are you?
S1:I’m 11.
T: I’m 34. S1 is young. S1 is younger than me.
Show young-younger on the blackboard.
(2) Teach YOUNGER several times.
(3) T: S1 is younger than me. So I’m older then S1.
Show old-older on the blackboard.
(4) Teach OLDER several times.
(5)T: Look, who is tall, teacher or S1?
Ss: You.
T: Yes, I’m tall, I’m taller then S1.
Show tall-taller on the blackboard.
(6) Teach TALLER several times.
(7)T: I’m taller than S1, so S1 is shorter then me.
Show short-shorter on the blackboard.
(8) Teach SHORTER several times.
(9) Teacher shows two rulers and teaches longer.
3.2:Games: Line up
Line up from shorter to taller.
Line up from younger to older.
3.3: A Lets’ learn
(1) Learn sentences: How tall are you?
(2) Students try to repeat the sentence and answer.
(3) Listen to the tape and read after it.
