This time I intend to place a large order, but business is almost impossible unless you give me a discount. 卖: If so, well certainly give you a discount. But how large is the order you intend to place with us? 买:500 printers with a discount rate of 5%. 卖:I am afraid we cannot agree to such a big discount. Such a discount wont leave us anything. Another company is willing to buy our printers with a 10% higher price. 卖:And we can help to introduce new customers for you as well. Besides, the price of printers tends to go up. There is a heavy demand for it. And the market competition is very intense. 买:Yes, I know the present market tendency. Anyhow, lets meet each other halfway, how about 3.5%? 卖:Hmm, all right. We can make you a firm offer of a 3.5% discount. But this is our reserve price. 买:Ok, we accept it. 卖:And, our quality department makes the promise that we will provide regular after-sales service. 卖:Like checking machines service.
