II II Abstract With the rapid development and prevalence of miniaturized biomedicine, information processing and wireless data transmission technology, the research of wireless medical monitoring system become a hot topic. When we see from the development angle，the wireless and networking of medical system production will be the trend, and the products which have the capacity of moving and the function of wireless networking will be the mainstream in the market of the future. Zigbee technology is a up-to-date wireless communication technology with short distance , low rate and low cost. Zigbee technology can help to realize great network capacity, power forming network ability and flexible mode , and also because of it’s high security ,lower consumption and using free wireless frequency , it’s so suitable to be applied to wireless medical monitor system . This paper exposes the wireless medical monitoring system’s development condition and application foreground, compares some current wireless transmission protocol , analysis the prevalence of Zigbee technology in wireless medical monitorsystem, and discusses the Zigbee s pivotal technology. After that, we design the communication node of Zigbee and the physiological parameter monitor terminal, develop the protocol stack based on this node and build the Zigbee mesh network with using the protocol stack, we can use this Zigbee network to monitor and transform the patient’s physiological parameter. The system can measure patient’s physiological parameter and send the it to monitor centre timely using Zigbee wireless technology, such as body temperature, beat rate , the monitoring centre take responsibility of remote-monitor the patient’s physiological parameter all days, so you can keep track of customer’s physiological health situation, if somebody’s health index sign overrun, the system will report automatically to the monitor centre and remind the doctor to help.
