Study Study and Implementation of Campus Network Optimization Based on Third—Layer Switching Computer Software and Theory Name：Guo胎icai Supervisor：Vice—Professor Liang Huajin ABSTRACT In this paper,the author studies modem network switched technique，which is more and more important to the approach of campus network’s optimization in the information time．The author also applies Third—Layer switching to create campus network，and presents all actual example． Firstly,the paper resumes switched technique．The author discusses the concept， technical background and ordinary creating strategy of advanced Third-Layer switching in detail，and then the author analyzes the high-performance architecture of Third—Layer switching． Secondly,this paper lays weight on planning of optimizing actual campus network based on Third—Layer switching,we present some key problems of campus network in the sight of technique，such as Channel·Congestion，Protocol—Congestion and Backbone—Congestion．For these problems we analyze with Switched—Technique， Virtual—LAN and Gigabit—Network technique，get the solutions．Facing to those key applications of the campus network，we study the network traffic，QoS，the network management based on Third—Layer switching．After the research of network security， some feasible security strategies of campus network ale also presented． The author has taken charge of the project of the campus network’s optimization， which is applied the feasible strategy based on Third-Layer switching．The project has been accomplished on time and got good evaluation of the leader who considers this n campus campus network aS an advanced one of the technology,and promotes it to the other schools in our country． Finally,the author summarizes the application of Third-Layer switching，as well as analyses its progress and makes the outlook of development in the future． Keyword：Third—Layer switching OoS network security campus network 111 第一章网络交换技术综述80年代后期开始，客户／N务器计算模式出现以及90年代该模式成为网络环 第一章网络交换技术综述
