AbstractIn Abstract In this paper,the essential theory of filter is simply introduced， and after introducing the essential principle and the port characteristic of the essential cell circ“谴————the second generation current conveyor(ccn)，the essential theory and the development of current mode filter are presented in detail．Then many novel methods how to design current mode filter and new filter circuits are presented，which are based on the essential cell and the essential principle of filter．The main contribution is described as following：①The design of second-order filter with three inputs and one output．The filter Can realize second-order low-pass，high-pass，band-pass，notch and all—pass through selecting different input，and its correctness and feasibleness are testified by experiment；②The design of second—order filter with three inputs and one output and tunable quality—factor(Q)and inherent angle—frequency(峨)is presented． The filter not only Carl carry the above of five filtering function，but also it Can adjust quality-factor(Q)and 4angle—frequency(q) independently,which can satisfy many ideal circumstance．③The design of multifunctional current mode filter model with one input and three outputs is presented．The filters deduced from this mode can carry out second-order low-pass，high-pass and band-pass at the same time，and it also can obtain the functions of second-order notch and all-pass filtering by connecting the outputs together directly；④The design of random order current mode low-pass filter and the realization of random transfer-function through current model，which present a universal way to realization of high·-order low--pass and every every transfer-function．In all over the filter circuit，the quality—factor and angle-fiequency are insensitive to all the capacitance and the resistance，and all the capacitance and resistance are grounded，which is convenient to integrate． Key words：current mode circuit multifunctional filter Single—output second-gener
