Y Y 769213 简化读音意识对英语学习者听力的影响 内容提要 在听力过程中，目的语能否被理解取决许多因素，其 中之一就是对口语中简化形式读音的理解。正式的英语 听力材料与自然情境下英语发音有所不同，在非正式口 语中常有读音简化现象，读音的简化是自然口语中的基 本成分，它们常被研究人员所忽视。其实在各种言语t‘}-l， 或多或少都存在读音简化现象。 本论文提供当前对简化读音形式研究的相关理论，并 通过实验进一步研究读音简化现象对语言学习者听力的 影响，所有的实验数据来自福建工程学院100多位本科 非英语专业学生，他们在为期三个月中进行4次听力测 试和对不同简化读音类型的调查，并将测试结果及调查 进行统计分析。 实验结果显示对简化读音现象J，解越多，意识越强的 学生，其听力成绩也越好，在所列的七种简化读音现象 中，连读、音的缩略形式及非爆破音比其它几种更具影 响力。 关键词：简化形式读音 听力成绩 发音 l AbstraetWhether Abstraet Whether or not target language input becomes intake is determined by various factors，one of which is perceptual saliency．The language phenomenon called reduce8forms The perceptual saliency of spoken English is variable in the way English is spoken in very formal contexts from more naturally occurring English．Reduced forms，which is observed in informal spoken languages，refer to basic element of this naturally occurring spoken English．They are seriously neglected in research．Reduced forms occur in all styles of speech．The paper provides an overview of the current survey of ESL students’perspectives on reduced forms．The purpose of the study reported here was to investigate further the influence of reduced forms on learners’listening achievement．The data were collected by surveys of more than 1 00 non-English major students of Fujian University of Technology．This study indicates that the presence of reduced forms and the type of reduced form affect the leamers’listening comprehension．The result shows the presence of reduced forms not only influence listening comprehension，but also of which types of reduced form influence learners’listening comprehension more than others．This paper also calls for more research into the role of reduced forms and the development of more authentic listening materials that support the students in a systematic and effective approach to reduced forms learning． Key words： reduced forms listening achievement pronunciation The The Effects of Reduced—Form-Awareness on English Learner’s Listening Achievement Chen Lib
