浙江工业大学硕士学位论文Numerical 浙江工业大学硕士学位论文 Numerical Simulation on Single··step Forming of an Involute Gear Shaft by Cross Wedge Rolling AB STRACT An innovative idea that all involute gear shaft formed by cross wedge rolling(CWR) technology was proposed to solve such problems as low strength and annoying process existed in gear shaft manufacturing area.Apparently,at this exploratory phase,it will cost huge amouut tO complete the study under real condition by reason that CWR is an complex forming process.So ftrstly’it is necessary to learn deforming mechanism and rolling regularity during the process with the help of numerical simulation technology. According to the characteristic of this subject,a technical routine that combine the finite element method(FEM)and phy7sical simulation validation Was determined.It summarized the scientific research achievements derived in CWR and gear shaft manufacturing area at home and abroad.And it also retrospects the principle of solutions for the plastic forming case、加tll rigid—plastic FEM under thermo—mechanical coupled condition.After that,design approach about an involute gear shaft forming within single·step by CWR Was discussed,and process model and theoretical analysis was presented in detail.Especially the designing of rack profiled die and the mathematical analysis for forming process Was investigated. Additionally,1 0 typical cases were predefined for numerical simulation.On base of simplified model,two-dimensional plain strain simulation and three-dimensional ri百d-plastic thermo-mechanical coupled simulation Was performed using MSC.Superform and Deform3D respectively.Much data Was obtained such as stress, strain field,temperature field,material flow and draught pressure or roll torque and SO on.By the help of 2D simulation,the forming rule and the general deforming features during the rolling procedure were grasped.One particular case was set up to explain the undercut phenomenon.Compared谢t11 1 0 different operating conditions,i
