和对话为单位进行对比分析，结合译者可能采取的翻译“目的”，初步得 出翻译目的的选择对字幕翻译影响甚深，最终会影响翻译质量甚至导致错 译的结论。 本文由五部分组成。第一章主要介绍了研究意义、背景，对研究此课 题的相关回顾以及文章结构。第二部分则是对字幕翻译相关内容进行简要 总结。第三章则陈述了功能学派目的论代表学者的相关观点以及目的论的 核心内容。第四章通过结合对电影《黑衣人》（三）字幕不同的翻译版本 的对比，讨论具体字幕翻译策略的选择以及字幕翻译结果。最后则是对全 文进行总结，以期对当今字幕翻译提出合理建议。 关键词：电影字幕翻译，目的论，黑衣人(三) ABSTRACT With the rapid development of China‟s economy, Chinese cultural industry have also seen a rapid increase of all facets. As an inseparable part of the cultural industry, movie industry also developed very fast in the past years. No matter movies importing from other countries or exporting to the world, they all grasp people‟s eyes. In China, there is a growing need for excellent films, and the market nourishes with the rise of whole industry, we could now enjoy more films and the amount of big screens in mainland China is heading north. As a result, an unpredictable cultural exchange is happening. Only gorgeous cast, plot, visual effects could not satisfy the various taste of Chinese audience, at the same time, the quality of subtitle translation is becoming a part of their standard to evaluate the quality of a film. So more and more people, including people working in movie industry and scholars who study on this field, start to make research on movie industry, in order to carry out some improvements to the whole industry. As far as studies are concerned, western scholars in 1970s began to show their interest in subtitle translation. As a rising school, scholars focus on subtitle translation theories, translation strategies, quality control, universal standards and so on. Inspired by western scholars, more and more Chinese scholars begin to do their researches as well. However, there are still some inadequacies in their studies. Besides, lacking of professional translators
