To their dismay, they found that a stable, prosperous Hong Kong remains to be one of the largest commercial and financial centers in the world. Moreover, many Chinese big cities are becoming world financial centers, following Hong Kong’s footsteps. The one-country-two-system policy, working so well in Hong Kong, will certainly succeed in Macao and Taiwan. Over 150 years of past humiliation teaches us that united we stand; divided we fall.
