This concept points out that every text comes out on the basic of vestige or memory of the previous text or takes shape by absorbing and transforming other texts. Since Julia Christian Eva put forward this term, intertextuality was soon widely discussed and developed by many theorists. Intertextualtiy theory provides a new angle to translation, especially literary translation.
