My I know your dream? What do you want to be when you grow up? Talk with the teacher about their dreams. Mobilize the students to get interested in today’s topic. Step 2 New words study Show some pictures of the students. What do they want to be? 1.Look at the pictures , read and remember the new words. 2.Fill in the blanks. Learn the new words about jobs. Step 3 Pairwork Ask the students to talk about their dream jobs with their partner. Ask and answer To help students use the target language in natural speech. Step 4 Listening Ask one student to have a call with the boy,the others fill in the blanks . Listen and write. Practice listening Step 5 Group work Ask the students to interview their classmates about their plans, and make a report . Ask their classmates about their dreams and plans, then tell the class. Extend practice, make sure the students use the structure freely. Encourage them to speak English in front of others. Step 6 Read and Role play Ⅰ:Extensive reading: Ask the students to read the conversation quickly and finish the exercises.
