Unit3 Section A 1a-1c 英语形容词/副词比较等级的构成有三个：原级，比较级和最高级。 （一） 形容词/副词的比较级 1. 形容词/副词比较级形式变化有规则的和不规则的两种。 规则变化： 1）单音节词末尾加-er Eg: great- greater small- smaller clean- ________ tall- ________ long- ________ short- ________ smart- ________ 2）单音节如以e结尾，只加-r Eg: fine- finer nice- nicer wide - ________ late- ________ 3）闭音节单音节词如末尾只有一个辅音字母，须先双写这个辅音字母，再加-er Eg: big- bigger hot- hotter red- ________ thin- ________ fat- ________ 4）以-y结尾的词，如-y前是辅音字母，则变y为-i，再加-er Eg: easy -easier heavy- ________ funny- ________ lazy- ________ early- ________ friendly- ________ 5）其它双音节和多音节词皆在前面加单词more Eg: difficult- more difficult delicious- ________ interesting- ________ outgoing- ________ friendly- ________ hard-working- ________ loudly- ________ 不规则变化： good/well- better bad/badly- worse many/much- more old-older/elder little- less far- farther/further 2. 形容词比较级的用法：比较级用于二者的比较。如： (1). She also sings more loudly than Tara. (2). Amy is the taller of the two girls. (3). Who is taller, Tom or Tim? (4).
