It could be traced back to ChinaÊs Han and Jin Dynasties (206 B. C. ) and took shape in ChinaÊs Tang Dynasty (618 A. D. ). It had developed dynasty after dynasty until the end of ChinaÊs Qing Dynasty (1911 A. D. ) when it declined for a time. In the modern time, however, Chinese miniature landscape rejuvenated with masters in unprecedented numbers.
