Other students answer the questions after listening. Step2 Warm-up 1. Learn some new words Ask some students to write the new words on the blackboard and read them together. Ask one student to match the English words with the Chinese meanings on the screen. 2. Look at the pictures and say the name of the traditional Chinese stories. Step3 Presentation Match the stories with the pictures. Step4 Listening 1b Listen and check (√) the facts you hear. Which story are Anna and Wang Ming talking about? 2a Listen and number the pictures [1-4] in order to tell the story. 2b Listen again and circle the words you hear. Step5 Explanation Finish the studying paper in groups and check the answers. Step6 Pair work Retell the story Yu Gong Moves a Mountain in groups of four according to the questions and pictures. Step7 Exercises Ask some students to do the exercises on the screen and explain them to the class one by one. Step8 Sum up What have we learnt this class? Step9 Homework 1、Tell the story Yu Gong Moves a Mountain in English to your parents. 2、Try to tell the other three stories. 五、教学反思 在完成八年级英语下册Unit6 An old man tried to move the mountains. 第一课时的教学中，我是以新课程理念为依据进行教学设计和课堂活动的。在本课中我采取了学案导学结合多媒体教学的方式与学生进行互动，通过听、说、读、写等方面的训练，使学生获得基础知识的同时，也掌握了运用英语的能力。现谈谈我对本节课的满意和不足之处。 1、优点：学生预习情况较好，在教学过程中，我很熟练的使用了电子白板等现代化教学手段，直观形象的向同学们呈现了图像和声音，提高了学生的学习兴趣和课堂效率。并且以小组合作的方式完成了对知识点的理解与应用。之后又让学生练习复述听力中所讲的故事，不仅锻炼了学生们的英语表达能力，而且通过复述课文可以提高学生的概括能力。 2、缺点：对时间的掌控还不是很到位，最后习题没有时间讲解，所以结束的很匆忙。课上仅仅是进行了口语和听力的训练，对于书写方面训练时间过短。课程紧凑以至于没有时间对复述故事需要用到的as soon as，unless和so…that…等重点内容加以强调和进行拓展练习，重难点还是不够突出。学生的复述课文也仅仅停留在听力原文上，没有进行归纳总结。如果在复述课文之前能够传授学生复述技巧，效果会更理想。
