The Appreciation of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Two years ago, I read a book named Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I can still remember how I was addicted to this book that time, the imaginary scenes, the funny plots and the vivid personalities of each character. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is a 1964 childrens book by British author Roald Dahl. It tells a story about the adventures of young Charlie Bucket inside the chocolate factory of eccentric confectioner Willy Wonka. This chocolate factory is the biggest and also mysterious, nearly no one can go in there. One day the owner Wonka announced a notice, it said that he would ask 5 children to visit his factory. Charlie’s family was poor, but he was lucky enough to get the chance to visit the chocolate factory with four other children. As they went in, those children were attracted by all kinds of miraculous stuff one by one except Charlie. At last, Charlie was the winner and he gained that factory on the condition that he could move his house into the chocolate factory. Chocolate factory? I was so surprised when I saw such a phrase. So at the very first sight of the book’s name, I decided to have a look on how does a chocolate factory look like. This novel is full of imagination. When I knew how does the factory is built, I was speechless. Doesn’t the chocolate are made for eating? How can they shape a house ? I questioned myself over and over again. In my point of view, I think it’s impossible to build a house with chocolates. So that’s the exact great part of this novel. It’s plots go far beyond reader’s expectation. It broke the normal rules of the world. I experienced a totally different world though this novel. And I even dreamed of a chocolate house of my own for a very long time. This novel succeeded in arousing my childishness mind. It has 6 main character, they are Willy Wanka，Charlie Bucket，Mike Tivey， Veruka Salt，Willit Borregad，Augustus Gloop. Each of them has distinct persona
