ABSTRACT With the development of socialist market economy, the media culture turned from "career mode" to "industry mode" gradually, the competition between media units is also increasingly fierce. M Radio and Television Espanola is a media company in the underdeveloped areas. Now the management of human resources has not yet formed an effective incentive mechanism, and the management system of the construction which is supported by talents is still in the exploration. Therefore, how to attract and retain talents and make it for the M station to create greater economic value and social value is an important problem for the development of the current M station. Although there are so many successfully establishing incentive mechanism cases of the media in the developed areas, in terms of M, it should adjust according to its own situation and then establish a scientific and reasonable incentive mechanism with M characteristics. Therefore, this paper comprehensively studies on the national or abroad incentive theory and method at first, followed by the incentive theory study in the field of the development and trend of radio and television. We can well understand human resource management of the media industry and employee’s incentive mechanism through these theories. And then the basic situation and the allocation of human resources structure and characteristics of M station were introduced. This paper uses questionnaire survey combined with field study to analysis staff incentive mechanism of M station, and indicate incentive mechanism present implementation situation, achievement and the main problem of M station.
