Abstract: T he irrigat ion w ith low pressure pipeline is an eff ective w at er-saving irrigation t echnique,
w it h t he charact eristics of w ater and energy saving , occupied less land and less labors, easy operation
and popularization , so it is w idely u sed in plain region of well irrig at ion dist ricts in China. Combined
w it h t he research of the w ater-saving irrigat ion t echnique the successful experiences is summed up,
the method t o solve the exist ing problem is put forw ard . T he development of pipe irrigation t echnique
by gravit y in mount ainou s reg ion is discussed.
