Analysis on the Relationship between Regular Education and Training Education in China
Introduction
It is the end of summer vacation. Another new semester is going to start. But it matters nothing for Lijia(alias), a pupil in Nanjing province. “I was so busy in this summer vacation. The little doctor for science (a kind of training course) as well as the Mathematical Olympiad training course and English training course in the Shuren training center took up 25 days out of my 30-day-vacation. What’s more, they all have homework to be finished. And the school also has a lot of homework. How hard and tired I am!” Lijia wrote so in his diary.
Nowadays, the training education is developing at surprising speed and competing fiercely with the regular education. Thus, students become the direct bearer of this invisible war between the regular education and the training education. Holidays were deprived of from the two educations and only constant course exist in their lives. Some schools will snatch high quality students who receive enough training courses and behave well in the training education. Worse even, some schools will establish unnormal channel with the training organizations to get great deal of money.
While the training education will be a complementary for the regular education regardless their negative relations. After all, China has a large amount of population. Besides, people have various demand of education. At the same time, the regular education has no enough capacity to carry all the needs of education. Therefore, the development of the training education is of great use in promoting the further development of Chinese people.
This paper attempts to analyze the positive and negative relationships between the regular education and the training education as well as the reasons for such kind of social phenomenon.
