In this paper, using the modern business management theory, in Guangxi Yanhai railway company as the research object, carried on the thorough research to the companys development strategy. The main research content is as follows: First of all, the companys internal conditions of Guangxi Yanhai railway are analyzed, and build the companys internal factor evaluation matrix (IFE). Using the general environmental analysis model (PEST) and Porter’s competition structure model for the companys industry present situation and analyzes the competitive structure , and Build the external factor evaluation matrix (EFE), two competition situation matrix (CPM) including regional competition between railway and highway and the main competitors of company . Secondly, this paper uses SWOT matrix analysis, made the alternative strategy of Guangxi Yanhai railway company, use the quantitative strategic planning matrix (QSPM), to evaluate alternative strategy analysis, to determine the overall development of Guangxi Yanhai railway company strategy: circle diversification development strategy of growth. Third, based on the regional economic and social development trend, the company main indexes are analyzed and predicted, so as to determine the companys development strategic target, and puts forward the corresponding competition strategy for diversification.
