Green patent fast examination program is conducive to promoting innovation and deployment of green technology. The program not only brings alternative ways to the applicant, but also has great significance for the protection of the environment and ecology. Currently, UK, Australia, South Korea, Japan, the United States, Israel, Canada, Brazil, China, Latvia have implemented its green patent fast examination program, while the subject eligibility, examination procedures, and the implementation effects of each program is different. China has released “ HYPERLINK /display.aspx?cgid=177648amp;lib=law Administrative Measures for the Priority HYPERLINK /display.aspx?cgid=177648amp;lib=law Examination of Invention Patent Applications”, involving patent applications such as energy conservation and environmental protection, new energy, new materials, low-carbon technology, conservation of resources and so on. However, there are some defects on the subject matter and examination procedures of the “Measures”; which is not only targeted for green patent. This paper attempts to put forward several suggestions for improvement of Chinas green patent fast examination program by analyzing and summarizing the practice and experience of some developed countries’ programs . This paper is divided into three parts : the introduction, the body and the conclusion. The introduction presents the research background and significance as well as the history and current situation of the study. The dissertation contains four chapters.
