A New Intelligent Optimization Algorithm for Biogeography
and Its Comparison

Abstract : A new optimization algorithm named Biogeograbhy-Based Optomization (BBO )is
proposed ，including the math model migration and the progress flow ． On some standard
benchmarks ，and by comparison of BBO with other intelligent optimization algorithm ，the superiority
performance of the algorithm is showed． The influences of some parameters of the algorithm are also
discussed ，and some future problems with BBO are pointe out．
