Most of us have experienced trouble sleeping at one time or another. This is normal and usually temporary (短暂的), because of stress(压力) or other reasons. But if sleep problems last too long in your daily life, you may be have a sleep disorder. Sleep disorders cause more than just sleepiness. The lack(缺乏) of quality sleep can be bad for your health. If youre experiencing sleep problems, learn about what you can do to help yourself, and when to see a doctor.
Sleep can be a barometer(晴雨表) of your health. In many cases, people in good health sleep well, while those suffering from sleep problems often have a health problem. Sleeping well is necessary for your physical health. Unfortunately, if you dont care for your sleep problems it can lead to poor health, weight gain and accidents. If you want to feel at your best and stay healthy, sleep is necessary.?
Its not normal to feel sleepy during the day, to have problems getting to sleep at night, or to wake up feeling tired. But even if youve struggled with sleep problems for so long, you can still learn to sleep better and then make healthy changes to your daytime habits and bedtime. If self-help doesnt work, you can turn to sleep specialists who are trained in sleep medicine. Together, you can find out causes of your sleep problem and find ways to improve your sleep and quality of life.
