This standard would be effective from March 1st, 2002. Among the standard, the items 3.1.1, 3.1.5, 3.2.3, 3.2.9, 3.3.4, 3.3.5, 4.1.12, 5.1.11, 6.1.12, 8.2.4, 8.3.4, 9.1.8, 9.1.13, 9.1.14 and 12.5.6 are mandatory, and must be observed strictly. At the same time, the original “Code for construction and acceptance of decoration engineering”(GBJ 210-83), “Code for construction and acceptance of building decoration” (JGJ 73-91), as well as Chapter 10 and 11 of “Evaluation standard for quality inspection of building engineering” (GBJ 301-88) would be repealed.
