AbstractA Abstract A computer room is an operating environment built for large computer equipment or computer network devices that are arranged in a centralized waV Computer room projects always involve technologies of a number of specialties，such as architectural furnishing，air conditioning and ventilation，water supply and drainage，electric power, fire protection and weak current．Computer room projects have the characteristies of high specialization，short period，relatively small project cost and scattered locations． With the rapid development of IT and the growth of users’demand for computers， computer room projects have gradually formed an industry．In the early period，the size of enterprises in the computer room industry was small for the restriction of the scale of computer room projects；and most of the enterprises in this industry were private ones，adopted hi曲ly centralized linear and extensive mallagement and relied on several key persons for business operation．After years of operation and capital accumulation，the enterprises in the computer room industry has enlarged their size and generally confronted some managerial problems during their growth．The problems are particularly reflected in such aspects as the stagnation of business volume，the increase of cost，the instability of project quality,the weakening of cohesion and the serious loss ofhuman resouI℃es． This thesis describes the situation ofthis industry witll the lcader ofthis industry as an example and puts forth a solution for the problems con行onted by the company．The company has confronted vailOUS problems mainly for its failure to appropriately handle the relationship alTIOng responsibility,power and benefit according to its own stage and objective of development，to timely adjust it management systom and organizational structure and to estjblish complete cost and qualily control systems． ARer years of hard work，the company has actually passed the initial stage of growth and is developing towards the s
