Compared with traditional reinforcing techniques, Cut—off wall has the advantage of short installing period, low costs and easy fixing. So Cut—off wall was widely used in support of the side slope. Thus the research for the cut off wall support has certain practical meanings. Through the method of linking theory with practice, this paper focuses on the theoretical computation and practical construction of the Cut—off wall support systems and does more systematic exposition of the cut off wall the history of the development, research and theoretical analysis of the status quo approach. At the same time, analyzing the calculation method of Cut—off wall force and pointing out that in accordance with the gravity retaining wall stability in the method of checking the external stability of soil nail. While the internal stability of the soil nail can be through the limiting equilibrium method checking. Has given the exterior stable checking calculation and the internal stable checking calculation in the current project the suitable corresponding formula.
