Fujian and Taiwan strait due to the factors of culture and geography make cross-strait economic exchanges inseparable. promoting economic and trade exchanges and cooperation between fujian and Taiwan both will play a key role for economic high growth. Since ECFA signed in 2008, the sides of the Taiwan straits economic zone construction, and cross-strait three links will bring new opportunities to deepen and develop regional economic cooperation between fujian and Taiwan. In this paper, from the view of economic and trade exchanges, describes the general situation of regional economic development in fujian and Taiwan. And was analyzed of the main problems in the economic cooperation between fujian and Taiwan in 2012. besides, the paper put forward some Suggestions to promote the development of deepening economic and trade cooperation between fujian and Taiwan from all areas of the economic and trade cooperation.
