The research show s that sm all reduced elasticmodu lus of the cracked support layer w ill be resu lt in under a great elastic modulus or large th ickness of the support layer or a little interval betw een cracks. It is suggested that the reduced elastic modulus of the support layer should be determ ined based on the related parameters and possible crack intervals.
