Paper Magic Page PAGE 24 Ferrari “Paper Magic” A creative proposal by Ferrari In response to the Call for KGUVA Proposal editor：Tiffany Visual communication designer：Niki Project planner：Aki Community consultation：Yiran 1 Project Overview 1.1 Executive Summary ‘Paper Magic’ is a paper art club as it provides a place for children with their parents for exchanging their ideas of creativity with creative industries students in Kelvin Grove Urban Village (KGUV). 1.2 Detailed Project Description ‘Paper Magic’ is a club for children and their parents to use paper as material for creating paper art. It means paper is the main material in this club for using. Experience is not necessary but every interested child is welcome to join. 1.2.1 Target Audience 6 – 12 years old of 20 children and their parents would join and create art works in a club activity. Each activity has a different topic, such as paper folding (origami), paper carving, paper packing, painting and printing. Photos will be taken of their works and those art works will be given to them in the end of each activity. Regular exhibition of children’s paper art works will be held. 1.2.2 Activities Once a week of club activity will be held in KGUV in bock Z2. A room on level three is an available space that allow 40+ people to comfortably meet and workshop. This room is well equipped with a computer and audio visual system, also amply tables and chairs. In an exhibition, children are invited to submit their best paper art work; either their own creations or designs inspired by others. The topic of exhibition will be changed every two weeks. 1.2.3 Process The first two weeks will be paper folding and following two weeks will be painting. The finest of these art works are selected to become part of the Paper Magic By Children exhibition for that two weeks. 1.2.4 Volunteers Staffs and volunteers will teach children basic skills about paper
