PAGE 5 人教新课标版 Unit 2 The Olympic Games An Interview 河北承德第一中学 孟志欣 一、教学内容分析 本单元是高一上册必修2Unit2TheOlympicGames，本话题旨在通过本单元的教学，使学生了解奥运会的起源、宗旨、比赛项目以及古现代奥运会的异同。本节内容是阅读部分，通过一个虚拟的采访两千年前的古希腊作家pausanias与一位当代中国女孩李燕的对话，向学生介绍了古代和现代奥运会的异同及奥运会的一些基本情况。随着问题的展开，学生对奥运会的了解也越来越全面。文章的这种设计给学生创设了语言情景，把描述竞技体育这一话题的内容变成了生动有趣的对话，让学生有一种身临奇景的真实感受。 二、教学目标?? 根据《新课程标准》关于总目标的具体描述，结合高一学生实际和教材内容，制定相应教学目标： 1指导学生归纳整理有关体育和奥运会的词汇，如：ancient,?medal,?Greece,??athlete,?stadium,?gymnasium等。让学生学会有效的记忆和运用英语词汇。 2让学生进一步熟悉，掌握一些阅读技巧，比如skimming(略读):to read something quickly and to find the main facts or ideas in it 主要为了抓住主旨。 scanning(扫读)：to examine an area carefully but quickly, often because you are looking for a particular person or thing，迅速浏览文章找到细节点。Summarizing (归纳总结) 3.让学习奥运会的知识，培养学生热爱体育运动。学习更快swifter，更高higher，更强stronger的奥运精神，培养学生团体合作、努力拼博、积极向上的精神。 三、教学重点与难点 1）比较古代和现代奥运会相同点和不同点。 2）讨论和分析申办奥运会所带来的影响。 3） 通过任务的完成，掌握阅读技巧，提高阅读能力。 四、教学方法： 任务型教学法，小组活动，培养学生自主学习技能。 五、教学手段：采用多媒体辅助教学 六、教学过程： Step 1. 导入 How much do you know about the Olympics? 奥运知识问答（旨在激发学生学习兴趣和高涨的学习热情，从而为下一步学习做准备） ①Teacher ask some questions: What do the five rings stand for? 2.
