In this pa- pe , the autho evaluates the st uctu al featu es of basaltic masses in conjunction with la ge hyd opowe enginee ing p ojects in southwest Sichuan P ovince acco ding to the basalt lithofacies, including Xiluodu hyd opowe station in Jinsha Rive and Guandi hyd opowe station in Yalong Rive , and the cont olment of the basalt lithofacies and p ima y st uctu e ove the ockmass st uctu e.
