In the broadest sense, a contract is simply an agreement that defines a relationship between one or more parities. For example, two people exchanging wedding vows enter into a contract of marriage; a person who has a child contracts to nurture and support that child; shoppers selecting food in a market contract to purchase the goods for a stated amount. In China, a contract, in the simplest definition, is a promise enforceable by law. What is “enforce”? 1) Providing a layer of support in order to make stronger or more durable in nature. This may be done by adding an additional layer of support on top of existing layers. 2) Imposing rules; keeping in compliance.
