HASSE SPACE SCHOOL The programs at HASSE Space School originated in NASA, and were designed with the joint efforts of various scientists, profes- sors and educational personnel from NASA. The aim is to develop students’ interest in space science. Today, the programs extend to combine management principles, motivational applications and experiential learning that’s on-site at NASA. It is with this highly engaging and empowering approach that makes the HASSE Space School a world renowned program. PROGRAM FEATURES Exploring space, science and managerial principles HASSE Space School is one of the few short-term youth study programs in the world, covering science, management and space, in order to provide students with the most exciting moti- vational study. In HASSE Space School, NASA engineers, scientists and managers are specially invited to give professional and inter- esting presentations to students. Get to know NASA, talk to the best in the field Students will gain a deeper knowledge of the core of NASA, and through simulating projects like the mission to Mars, engage in unique and insightful discussions with the best engineers, scien- tists and managers of NASA. There is also the opportunity to visit and experience the assembly of the International Space Station, design the Mars exploration rover, launch rockets, visit mission control centers and much more. Highly engaging experiential learning Students, through HASSE Space School, will be placed in mission control and take part in simulated space missions. They will learn about goal-setting, project planning, resource management, crisis management and teamwork. This helps students develop independent thinking, empowering their creativity, as well as developing team spirit and encouraging them to truly reach for the stars.
