Advances in Education 教育进展, 2019, 9(3), 309-313 Published Online May 2019 in Hans. /journal/ae /10.12677/ae.2019.93052 The Application of PAD Class Teaching Model in Basic on Mechanism Design Guomin Liu College of Civil Engineering, Jilin Jianzhu University, Changchun Jilin th th th Received: Apr. 30 , 2019; accepted: May 10 , 2019; published: May 17 , 2019 Abstract Basic on Mechanism Design is an important technical basic course offered by architectural envi- ronment and energy application engineering, safety engineering and other specialties in Jilin Jianzhu University. This article adopts the teaching mode of PAD Class in order to improve the quality of class teaching, in which half of the class teaching time is allocated to teachers, and half is allocated to students for interactive discussion and learning through presentation, assimilation and discussion. Students are able to perceive their dominant role in studying in course of PAD Class, and improve their initiative and enthusiasm by interacting with each other through efficient teacher-student and student-student interaction.
