Teaching methods:　1、Ask and answer questions to get the students familiar with the general structure of the sentences with an object clause.　3、Presentation and practice to make the students familiar with the detailed information.　4、Doing exercises to review what has been taught.　IV. Teaching procedures:　Step 1 Free talk and Lead-in　1、Start a free talk with them to know something about some people’s pictures.　　 Use the following series of questions to introduce the subject today——the Object Clause.　Step 2 Presentation　　1、Present the main structure of the sentences with an object clause, that is,main sentence + conjunction +clause. Tell the students that words like say, tell, know, hope, believe, etc. are often used in the main sentence as the Predicate. ‘Besides, an object clause can also be used after an adjective such as glad, afraid, happy, sure, etc..? When the main sentence is in the Present Indefinite Tense or the Future Indefinite Tense, give the students some simple sentences and show them how to change them into clauses.
