Lead in 1. 老师拿出几件衬衫，激发学生的学习兴趣。 T: What are these? S1: They are shirts. T: Yes,you are right.Today we are going to learn unit 5“what are the shirts made of?”,so just guess what they are made of. S2: They are made of cotton. Ⅱ. Presentation Step1: having a small game(puzzle) 1.哥俩一般高，每天三出操，人人都需要，团结互助好。（chopsticks） 2.正看一大片，侧看一条线。遇火能燃烧，遇水容易烂。（paper） Step2:teaching new words about things and material. 教师利用PPT图片教授所涉及的单词并把单词板书成两类。 step3:work on 1a. Let Ss read the things and materials in 1a. Discuss with their partners and match them with the materials. More than one answer is possible. What are these things usually made of? Match them with the materials.
