Is it made of silver? —Yes, and it was made in Thailand. ② What is it made of/from? 2) 能够用英语询问物品的材质、产地及如何回答;辨析和掌握be made of/from/in/by的短语 2. 情感态度价值观目标: 了解一些日常用品的制成材料,增加生活常识,养成良好的生活习惯;懂得保护环境。 二、教学重难点 1. 教学重点: 1) 掌握本课时中出现的生词 2) 能够用英语描述及询问物品的制作材料 3)be made短语 2. 教学难点: be made短语的运用。 三、教学过程 Ⅰ. Lead in 1. 老师拿出几件衬衫,激发学生的学习兴趣。 T: What are these? S1: They are shirts. T: Yes,you are right.Today we are going to learn unit 5“what are the shirts made of?”,so just guess what they are made of. S2: They are made of cotton. Ⅱ. Presentation Step1: having a small game(puzzle) 1.哥俩一般高,每天三出操,人人都需要,团结互助好。(chopsticks) 2.正看一大片,侧看一条线。遇火能燃烧,遇水容易烂。(paper) Step2:teaching new words about things and material. 教师利用PPT图片教授所涉及的单词并把单词板书成两类。 step3:work on 1a. Let Ss read the things and materials in 1a. Discuss with their partners and match them with the materials. More than one answer is possible. What are these things usually made of? Match them with the materials. Second, each group sends two students to present. III. Listening T: Tell Ss they will hear a conversation about some things and material.
