How to deal with peer pressure Many people give in to peer pressure because they want to fit in and be liked by their friends and classmates. When it is negative peer pressure, it’s important to learn ways to say “no” to your friends or classmates. One good way is to find a friend who will stick with you and also resist peer pressure. That way you will not feel like the only one who is not giving in. It also helps to find friends that will not pressure you to do things you don’t want to do. Finding friends with similar interests will help you stay away from negative peer pressure. Be confident and you’ll find it is much easier to resist negative peer pressure.
