II 万方数据 ABSTRACT Subject: Research on Riveting Technology of Automotive Wheel Hub Bearing Units Specialty: Mechanical Engineering Name: Hu Hao Supervisor: Associate Prof. Niu Rongjun ABSTRACT Automobile hub bearing riveting forming is one of the most advanced technologies of the third generation hub. But in the actual processing of the riveting process, many urgent problems easily occurred such as flanging structure crack. Therefore, research on automobile hub bearing riveting processing technology will play a positive role in improving the product quality of hub bearing. Based on the study of rotary forging forming, finite element model of automobile hub bearing riveting process is established. Through using DEFORM software, the automotive wheel bearings riveting process is simulated, the deformed characteristics and the stress and strain are systemically analyzed. Riveting process variation characteristics of the region and the feature points were gained, and the calculating model is verified by experiment . This illustrates the feasibility of study the riveting process with the finite element simulation method. The steel material of No.55 required for the simulation have been taken to do the tensile test, and the tensile curve of material is obtained, so is transformed to the flow stres
